Isobutane: the gas that heats
Isobutane is a gas with a high calorific value. It is the gas that provides the heat during combustion. In addition to this function, it maintains constant pressure and performance down to -12°C.

Propane: the gas that withstands the cold
Propane allows the Jeteboil stove to be used in cold conditions (down to -42°C). It also guarantees high pressure in the Jetpower cartridge, an essential performance factor.

Butane: the filling gas
